A little bit more

-         -  Abraham asked God for one son, but God gave him nations
-          - Solomon asked for Wisdom and Knowledge, God gave what he asked for and much more

These are a few examples of what God can do, God never gives you what you asked for and that’s it. God makes sure to give you what you asked for and He also gives you something extra.

When you sacrifice and put your whole dependence on Him, he has no choice but to bless you. The devil will try and make you give half your sacrifice, because he knows that if you only give half, God will not bless you completely! So you have to doubt the doubt, when the devil comes with doubtful words, just push it away and remember your sacrifice.

I have had times where I gave my all, and still the devil whispers that it won’t work, or God will never hear. But if you’re smart you pause and think, wait, If I obeyed and sacrificed, then God HAS to bless me!

The Great Sacrifice

He said, "Take your dear son Isaac whom you love and go to the land of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains that I'll point out to you."

God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, the son he had been praying and asking God for 100 years. Don't you think that was a bit too much? Honestly it was. but again we see Abraham obeying, he left his house and traveled to that mountain, and was going to do just as God had asked. Now that is really an obedient man, and just as he was going to kill Isaac, God stopped him and said:

"Don't lay a hand on that boy! Don't touch him! Now I know how fearlessly you fear God; you didn't hesitate to place your son, your dear son, on the altar for me."

What is your Isaac nowadays? Is it your car, your house, your phone... I don't know, each person has a different Isaac. But be sure, when God asks you to sacrifice your 'Isaac' just do it. And do it with faith, and believe that God will provide. When you put all your trust in God, he will take care of your life, and bless it so much.

And when you sacrifice and ask God for one big thing, don't ask for something small, ask something that is huge, that is impossible for you. Because for God nothing is impossible. Abraham asked God for only one son, but God made Abraham a father of nations.

What is your Isaac?

Obedience

This month's theme in my church is about Abraham and Obedience...

Do you know who Abraham is? He is considered the Father of Faith. And not only that, he obeyed everything that God asked him to do.

God told Abraham to leave his hometown and head towards a land that He would show him. If you stop and think, its pretty crazy, because he just left and started to walk away from his land and into the dessert, not knowing where he was going, but he obeyed. And that's when God started to bless him.

So when you pray and God talks to you and asks something of you, or tells you to do something, its better you obey Him. because if you don't your just missing out on all the blessings He is willing to pour down on you.

Listen and Obey
